About IQAC

Shri Venkateshwara University has initiated to establish the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in accordance the UGC's 11th Plan Guidelines for the Establishment and Monitoring of Internal Quality Assurance Cells (IQACs) in Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) to act as a mentor for planning, guiding, quality assurance and quality enhancement activities for consistent improvement in the University's overall performance.

Aim

The primary aim of IQAC is to ensure the attainment of excellence by the Institution in both academic and administrative performance.

Objectives

• To develop a framework for increasing the Institution's academic and administrative capacities through intentional, reliable, and transformative initiatives.
• To improve institutional quality by fostering a quality culture and implementing effective initiatives.

Quality Policy

To attain excellence by developing a system for consistent enrichment of curriculum outputs, instructional practices, research promotion, collaboration and extension activities.

Strategies

The IQAC will assist with creating systems and processes to:

• Ensure that all academic and administrative processes are strategically planned for continual development.
• Implement comprehensive and inexpensive academic and research programmes that address the requirements of various social groups.
• Increase the usage of technology-integrated teaching approaches to maximise the academic engagement.
• Ensure that assessment and evaluation systems are reliable.
• Ensure the proper assignment, adequateness, and continued operation of support structures and services for all stakeholders.
• Sharing the best organisational methods and accomplishments with various organisations on a global scale.

Functions

The IQAC will be equipped with the following functions:

• Implement procedures to set criteria and recommendations for evaluating the quality of all processes.
• Promote a learner-centered environment to provide the best learning experience by improving teacher competency and expertise.
• Acquire and assess quality feedback from stakeholders to help enhance institutional procedures.
• Share information on various quality approaches and outcomes with all stakeholders involved.
• Conduct faculty development programmes, workshops, and lectures on quality.
• Operate as the university's centralized body for managing and organizing quality-related initiatives.
• Manage the institutional database of all activities with either an internally produced or commercially obtained Data Management System.
• Conduct Academia and Administrative Audits (AAA) regularly, and enforce any subsequent recommendations.
