IDP
The Institutional Development Plan (IDP) of Shri Venkateshwara University, Gajraula (SVU) acts as a strategic framework for nurturing academic excellence, improving research capacities, encouraging innovation, and attaining sustainable growth in accordance with the directives established by the University Grants Commission (UGC). IDP outlines the university’s vision, mission, and essential goals within short-term, mid-term and long-term time frame.
The IDP aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, determined to establish SVU as a center of excellence that fosters talent, promotes innovation, and significantly aids in achieving national and international development objectives.
IDP OBJECTIVES
- To articulate a clear vision and mission of the institution and align these with the National Education Policy 2020, Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), and the institution's educational, research, and social objectives.
- To assess institutional developmental needs through wide consultative processes.
- To identify capacity (human, material, and financial) and organizational gaps based on goals and priorities.
- To develop Annual Activity/Capacity Building Plans to enhance capacity and address identified gaps.
- To establish a transparent system for holistic, inclusive growth and development of the University through the application of relevant tools, technologies, and opportunities, especially Digital Technologies, to ensure optimal utilization for balanced growth.
- To establish an ethos of holistic lifelong learning and an operative framework to promote better employability and entrepreneurship by integrating skilling into Higher Education.
- To develop an operative framework to promote the internationalization of education.
