SoHSS is a vibrant community of students, faculty, staff and alumni. Our programs focus is on developing critical thinking skills as well as hands-on learning. The aim is to provide a holistic education so that students could develop professionalism with social sensitivity.
The programs provide opportunities for research, exposure visits, regular lectures from industry experts, in-house publishing, designing and study abroad program. Through interdisciplinary collaborations our students regularly participate in national level events, sports and youth festivals.
Our programs train students in humanities & multidisciplinary areas, including Public Relations, Corporate Communication , Socialism, Social Works, Historical, psychological, political, Yoga, Geography, Home science Event Management, and Research Methodology. These core subjects are coupled with other social science and ethics subjects, in order to situate humanities and communication within the broader social context. Our post graduate programs follow the Case Method pedagogy that aids in developing the problem-solving skills.
It is our firm faith that value based learning can transform a student into an efficient professional and a responsible citizen.
