As a Dean of the School, I am extremely proud of the rich tradition of providing practical, experiential-based quality education. School of Agricultural sciences provide B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. programs. With my expertise of 36 years as a teacher, researcher, extension person. My vision is to provide better facilities to update the knowledge of faculty and students with latest technologies in the field. Our faculty at present has been guided by an academic, effective management approach that is innovative, entrepreneurial, productive, participative, sharing, working with team spirit. We are motivating and training the agricultural student in every aspect of agriculture viz., Agriculture, Genetics, Plant breeding, Engineering, Extension, Economics, Seed technology, Plant physiology, Agricultural Biotechnology, Plant genetic resources as well as Plant and Soil health management. Our only goal is to provide quality education to build the bright future of our students. The knowledge of students and faculty will be enriched through various academic and research activities namely, winter and summer schools, seminars/symposia, national as well as international conferences, field demonstrations, field training and other latest technologies in the field of agriculture.
