Student Services

With the well-being of our students always being our first priority, at SVU, we provide superior student services so our students find a home away from home. The primary areas of focus of our student services are the learning, health, safety and convenience of our students.

Learning spaces

For the academic progress of our students, we have digital classrooms, e-learning studios, a heavily packed library and state-of-the-art laboratories so that our students can focus on their quest for knowledge, wanting for nothing.

Campus stores

We have departmental, stationary and pharmaceutical stores on-campus to ensure that the needs of our students are taken care of, without needing them to go out every time there’s a basic requirement.

Housing

We provide on-campus housing to ensure that minimal time is wasted on commuting back and forth from the students’ residence to the university. Separate accommodations for boys and girls are available for maximum comfort and privacy of the students.

Sports facilities

To ensure all round development and health of our students, we maintain extensive sports facilities on-campus, like a fully-equipped gym, a cricket field, a basketball court, a tennis court, a squash court and a common game room with provisions for many indoor games like carrom, table tennis etc.

Transportation and commuting services

For our students who do not live on-campus, we offer the opportunity to opt in for our private university transportation services to save them the hassles of commuting to and fro via public transport.

Auditoriums and syndicate rooms

For the purpose of organising and conducting guest lectures, workshops, and other special events, we have large auditoriums and syndicate rooms on-campus which are capable of comfortably accommodating the students interested in the attending the event.

Student counselling and guidance cell

Students often need help during their university life, both of professional and personal nature. The Student counselling and guidance cell ensures that our students receive the help, guidance and mentoring they require on every step of the way.

Student clubs

The clubs and societies pioneered by the students themselves are a huge part of campus life, as they further the personal interests of the students in addition to development in leadership and organisation skills, which in turn provides a major boost to their resumes.
