School of Sciences
The School of Sciences (SAS) is an integral part of the Shri Venkateshwara University that has seen a vision to build the institution of global repute.
The School of Sciences comprises of mainly ve Departments as
- Department of Applied Physics
- Department of Applied Chemistry
- Department of Applied Mathematics
- Department of Applied Zoology
- Department of Applied Botany
The School is committed to providing excellent teaching methods by elite faculties, good environment for learning and curricula, with world-class research. The School of Sciences offers Undergraduate programs in two streams B.Sc. (PCM) and B.Sc. (ZBC) and Master's and Doctoral programs in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Zoology and Botany. Our focus is on most important skills which students need to prepare for the 21st Century workforce by deep understanding of subjects and fullling the credit requirements as per UGC Norms. We promote our PG students for preparing quality research project with publication in internationally reputed journals.
However, doctoral students are mandatory to meet with the latest UGC regulation of M.Phil./ Ph.D. We have well equipped practical/research laboratories with sophisticated equipments and a computer lab. Departments under the school have strong focus on practical and demonstration based study. The School of Sciences has vast collection of text and reference books for UG, PG and Doctoral studies, in our 'Central library'.
We have research collaborations with the globally reputed institutions of India and abroad. The dedicated and well-qualied faculty members have a keen interest in teaching along with research by organizing as well as by taking part in workshops/ National and International conferences/ seminars/ symposia/ special lectures etc with the priority in interdisciplinary elds and always promote students to become a part of that. In coming years we are efciently planning for various new employment educations (skills, abilities and professional qualities) based Diploma/ Undergraduate/ Postgraduate courses in the school to shape the budding youths for their bright career. I sincerely thank all those who have contributed to the all round development and growth of SAS. I wish all the best to our students for their ourishing career.
