Shri Venkateshwara University, Gajraula is built on a foundation, which symbolizes the entire persona that has made SVU fastest growing university of Uttar Pradesh (west). School of Pharmaceutical Sciences was established in the year 2011, with an objective to develop a heart of brilliance providing education in the field of Pharmacy, so that degree holder can become industry-ready. Globally intensified competition coupled with the pressures of expansion of knowledge base has given birth to new challenges. The only way to meet new challenges is to adopt innovation in teaching technology.

School of Pharmaceutical Sciences has instituted global standards in education, training, and research with an admirable infrastructure including well-equipped laboratories, Library, Computer lab, audiovisual rooms and also innovative teaching pedagogy. With a mission to uplift stakeholders of all class, religion and state of society, the university strives to blend knowledge with tradition in each of the students.

School of Pharmaceutical Sciences has given emphasis on dynamism in pharmaceutical education imparted to the new generation learners. It has given due weight-age to adopt revised syllabus and latest types of equipment to train students with the latest methodology to make the curriculum productive and interesting. The university fortified the Council syllabus with various guest lectures, seminar, workshops and conferences with the current trends topics & knowledge. To make its students competitive, SPS aims at providing a platform to the aspirants of pharmaceutical studies as adequate facilities to promote world-class research, invite world-class scientists, regulatory officials, and management from the drugs industries. The University aims to provide adequate depth of understanding in the principles and various aspects of pharmacy to develop overall personality, presentation, psyche and aurum, which enables one to stand with confidence among others in this vast and ever-growing competition.

School of Pharmaceutical Sciences is paying more attention to R&D Programmes for the discovery of new drugs/formulations. The school has courses for Diploma, Degree (Graduate and Post Graduate) and Research Programmes under the able guidance of eminent faculty. The faculty members are well versed with the latest developments and current knowledge in the sector of the pharmacy industry and research. The faculty members are inspired and motivated for self up-gradation & appraisal through research and various FDPs, SDPs throughout their career with SPS.
